This is your guide to the
Active Electromechanical Suspension and Power Generation System Using an Acceleration Controller
(Patent No.: US 9,561,701)

    The latest prototype
Prototype 10 is currently being road tested and updated.   Later, testing will include test vehicle demonstration rides.   (See prototype log for more information.)
    What is this all for?
Are you wondering what this suspension is for or why there is a website about it?   In a way this is for technological progress, efficiency, comfort, and maybe even some money.   If you want to read more, there is a History page just for that.   Click Here.

If you want fast answers to the most common questions people have, you should click on the frequently asked questions (FAQs) link above.   Or you can also click on it if you just like the animations--I don't judge.
What does damping have to do with a suspension?
A standard vehicle suspension consist of a spring and a damping device also know as a shock absorber.   The idea here is to take the kinetic energy of an impact and store it in the spring while the damping device slowly dissipates that energy.   This is important because roads are not flat and smooth, which means each bump is actually an impact that could damage you or your vehicle if not properly absorbed.

    United States Patent

    General information
A prototype is the first thing or being of its kind and is usually tested to make sure that it functions the way it was designed to.   (And testing is important, since thing don't always go as planned.)   While a proof of concept passes the functional test, it may not be ready for production.   In this case the Proof of Concept was tested using a small (haphazard) vehicle that was meant to simulate a real one.   And a vehicle suspension is a support device that keeps the tires on the ground while keeping the passenger in a somewhat level and comfortable position (suspended above the ground).
